UBB.Developers (UBB.Dev/Threads.Dev) is a development community which was initially established in the 90s to support modifications and 3rd party code for the Ultimate Bulletin Board products (UBB.classic, Eve, UBB.threads). Some of the code provided here has landed in the official product, and some long standing code has been updated through the years as "unofficial features" through modifications.
We are 3rd party developers and are not owned or operated by the powers that own the UBB.threads product. UBBDev.com is owned by James Courthell (Gremelin/Gizmo) who is a volunteer moderator at the UBB.threads "User to User Support Forums" and who is also the creator of the UBBDev Wiki.
As of January 2015 we have tossed our hat in the ring and worked out a deal to produce new software versions for UBB.threads; our first delivered version was the code cleanup/bugfix release v7.5.9.
