Ever considered using the Find feature built right into Windows? I know similar utilities come with MacOS and Linux. Just in case someone doesn't know how to do this in Windows...
Locate the directory containing your UBB files.
Right-Click -> Find... -> Containing text -> Find Now
Really easy, huh?
Better yet, get a
real text editor, like
Multiedit . When working on a mod, when I need to find
every instance of something, I can simply open all the UBB files simultaneously and do a global search. The search results show up in a
tree list . Double clicking on an entry in that list brings me right to that line of code. Sweet.
