In addition, you'll need to edit every page and remove the line:

That means that in public_forum.pl and public_topic.pl and a bunch of other files, you'll need to search and destroy that line. That is the placeholder for the line of links.
As for the banner, that's with the $MainButtons. It should be near it somewhere, in every file, so it's manual deletion.
