The author of the program can easily convert a hack into SHW (Script Hack Wizard) format.
If you follow normal instructions, like in a .txt file, it will say "Find X" and then "Add Y" after it. You can easily change that hack into SHW format.
No, it won't be a problem for ANY version of UBB. It won't be a problem for any scripting language, be it Perl, PHP, ASP, etc..
The way this program will work, is you can install a hack, but also UNINSTALL it. So if there is a new hack with similar features, you can uninstall the old one, and then put in the new one. This will solve the problem of some lines not being found.
I won't have a partial hack installed, only because it generally tends to do more harm than good. It's difficult enough to follow a .txt file and not get lost, nevermind a program that automates the entire process and then you're very confused.

I'd like to get a final version by the end of next week hopefully.
It will need support from the hacking community overall, and that's why I ask you spread the word. I am working with some people to create a database for these hacks, separated by what software they are for, then listed alphabetically.
That's something that will take some time, as I'm not familiar with CGI scripting. Though, if anybody is familiar with it, I'd appreciate any help you can give me
