Color can make or break any site design - finding the right scheme for your site can mean the difference between 'net-dustbin hades and superstardom. It won't do much for your content (which is what keeps people coming back) but will allow their occular neurons to be able to grasp what you're really tryin to say.
blah blah blah...
Here's some great resource sites I've found that should assist you in tweaking that perfect color scheme and design:
- ColorMatch Remix - prolly the best of the lot, has improved since I linked to it in the past
- IStockPro - need stock images and a complementary color scheme? Start here
- Technicolor - Not only can you choose your colors, but you can then apply them to a mock-up layout on the same page.
- Color Wheel - another nice color-picker. Hover over the wheel to view colors.
Click to choose a web-smart color. - Color Blender - Useful color tool by Eric Meyer - blend 2 css colors across multiple midpoints.
- Color Harmonizer - Create color harmonies, combinations, and themes.
- more to come..
