Ok looks like the final hurdle - everything seems fine, calendar's up - looks great - but no birthdays being picked up automatically.

what I've done:

1. manually updated every profile through cp
2. cleared cache (x 100)

No joy - but, when I logged into "my profile" and updated (just me) from there - my birthday appeared on the calendar.

Is it likely that I have to:

a. ask every member to do the same or,
b. log into every "my profile" (pw hack installed) and update one at a time from there, or am I missing something else?
