Hello UBBDEV, I just joined UBBDEV, and I do not own a Ultimate Bulletin Board yet, but I think I am going to buy one very soon! I just realy don't want to get riped off. I feel that $200's is a lot of money for just a message board. When you can just use IkonBoard or Yabb's for free. I understaind that you have to pay for thing's in life, but $200's! Is it realy worth it? I also know of VBulliten's and they are cheeper, but they don't realy fit my style, I have been members and admin's of both, and the Contral Panel for the UBB is much easier to understaind and contol. What I am posting this for is I want to find out some input from you people, The UBBDEV are (what I have heard) the best UBB masters out there. I don't have anything right now though, no .com or .net or org. But I have seen .tk's and .cjb.net's for free. I also have no hosting (paid) as of right now. I have seen netfirms, and spaceports, and they look pretty reliable but I am sure there is a catch to them somewhere (they say you get what you pay for) So I realy want

www.swfonline.net and it isn't taken. So I am thinking about buying that! Then comes the hard part (or so I have heard), I need a host with . . . high bandwitdh? . . . I realy don't understaind that, on Netfirms they have 100mbs of it, is that alot? I don't even know what bandwidth is (is that how much stuff you can upload?) What I realy want is a package deal (the host and domain in 1) but I am a kid
So at a resonable price, the ubb is going to kill me enough! Now I know that there are other sections that some of this should be posted at like web hosting ect. but I though it would be easyer to just type one massive post. I think that I could make a great addition to this website, and I hope to make some friends on my way there! Any and all help that you friendly people post would be great, Just Remember This!
