I know several UBB boards that were hacked and even my own board (the main one) is a target. Like many, I spend way too much time customizing it so it becomes a bitter moment to find out that my work can desolve in matter of seconds. Just the other day I got serious threats so I've taken precautions, but even that is not guaranteed.
While it is not possible to stop all vulnerabilities I agree that something of this nature should be taken more seriously. I'm considered new in the UBB community, paid good money and hate to see a good product go sour because the lack of interest to resolve the matter. I don't make mods, let alone code boards, but if the UBB community band together I'm sure a viable solution(s) can take place as you guys are extremely talented.
I met some cool people because of UBB. Anyway, I'll leave it at that. Great to see you LORD!
