UBB.Threads comes with various addons scripts that can be used as a "portal". Even better tho, JustDave has built a modification he calls the "Integrated Index Page" ( IIP ) that sets up in 5-10 minutes and is a very nice "portal system". You can see a decent application of it on our homepage at
www.ubbdev.com - we don't have all the options turned on. This one is version 4.3, version 4.6 should be out in the next day or so with more options including a "shout box", some content caching, etc. Don't even get me started about version 5.... :slurp:
ubbportal will be nice, but is something being developed from scratch and will take time to do right. If you are in a huge hurry for something "now", you can't beat ubb.threads/IIP
