Will it require more "horsepower" and "system" resources? yes. But, that is getting cheaper, and it's _much_ cheaper than the human/programmer time trying to maintain each upgrade, and work out the bugs from trying to install each upgrade, etc
This is the part that concerns me and while I'm still reluctant to make the fullblown move to templates. While it is getting cheaper, at least 50% of WWWThreads users run under a web hosting company's shared server. And they are still pretty strict on server resource useage. So, I don't want to put out a product that a good majority of my customers won't be able to use.
