disable links in signatures 6.0.3

we got a popular german-speaking ubbt running at http://www.kurier.at/forum (login: test, password: test)

as we got lots of political discussions going on, our policy is not to allow ubb/html in user-postings.

nevertheless - in signatures all links are clickable. does anybody know where to turn that off? thanx in advance!
