Yeah, if I'd done what he did, every time there was a problem, you'd never know if it was you.
6.2 was extensive changes. Every script was modified and the fundamental way threads works was changed. Normal upgrades only have a handful of scripts which might not be as bad.
I tried this with all my hacks from 6.2 to 6.3... but things were still goofy. Best to start clean.
