If you can add more that better.
The big point with that type of traffic is going to can you add memory. If you can pop in more go for it.
The main thing is going to be sure you have mysql configured correctly to handle that traffic. Depending on your mysql version you may wish to visit the threads on here in the mysql forum on tuning mysql. This is going to be the single most important thing. If you pop in another 512MB great. But then you need to configure mysql to best use those resources to handle the busy traffic on your site.
