I am using UBBThreads now but been using PHPNuke/phpBB for a while now and there was one "block" I really liked: Last Forum Posts. It is akin to IIP's "Top Threads" but gives more details such as the last poster name, how many views, how many replies, and the last datestamp of the latest post.
