Hi all!
Try as I may, I could not find anything regarding the alignment issues I am experiencing here on this wonderful community board.
We have just upgraded to 6.5.1, and I am attempting to insert our navigation/logo into the header using the "HTML Includes" section under DisplayOptions/General/HTMLIncludes". All looks good with the includes as it shows our header and footer nicely.
However,
the problem I am experiencing is that the header and footer appear "left justified" while the body of the forum is "center justified". So when I expand the browser window, the body moves to the right while the header/footer stays left.
I figure that I could go into one of the templates and modify one of them, however, that would illiminate the benefit of the includes. I have aligned my header/footer tables in the includes as "center" justified, but that does not seem to do anything (they stay left justified). Nonetheless, it appears there is a class called "tablesurround" that I cannot seem to locate in the stylesheet editor, templates, or anywhere else. Does this have something to do with it, and whether or not it does, where can I edit this class since I cannot locate this class in any of the editors... yet? I guess from the looks of it, I have a second question that needs answering.
Most importantly,
I want to keep the body of the forum "left justified" along with the header/footer includes that are also left justified. And, I am trying to do this by using the includes. I have seen other sites with this same issue and it appears disorienting for me. However, many sites do not experience this issue... this one included. Any advice is appreciated and, unfortunately, I need it quickly...
Thx all... I truly appreciate all your community's great contributions!
