I allow members one thread in which they can 'chat'. They still aren't allowed to swear or say anything against the rules of the forums. Every other thread is very vigilently moderated. All I care about is the fact that members' post numbers are a sign of respect, and simple chat posts shouldn't inflate a member's post count, as these meaningless posts are not worth anything.
