I have done this a couple of times on 5.47 now. I wouldn't do a global find and replace of all the files. Make sure you only replace what needs to be replaced. The directions don't completely match up for 5.47 but they are close with the exception of one or two files. Like MasterMind stated above, you don't really need to change the HTML dir to SHTML.
