As for your 2nd remark... Im not a perl programmer.. i work with C/C++ so its close enough... The way it sounds, the poll doesnt have floating poit support. Its probably only using integers (whole numbers between -32k to 32k if memory serves) I may be wrong, but thats what im thinking.. If precision is what you want, them bug atom to include FP support
