Yeah it works fine it I set it to 5 or 6. I'd like to figure out why it won't work with $TheColSpan for me, but oh well. I was playing around and realized that it isn't too much work to added another field into General Settings that will contain the Announcement. This way you don't have to mess around with the Copyright Notice stuff.
