We are often criticized for sending topic reeling off course. A perfectly normal conversation is happening when someone suddenly posts something that sends the thread veering off in a completely different direction. We've all done it...I do it on a daily basis.
That being said, here is a new thread for your enjoyment. The off-topic thread. The challenge for you is to post something completely unrelated to anything that has been posted before...hence, stay off-topic. If you reply to something that has been mentioned previously, then you are on-topic and that is something you should do in other threads.
So then:
Courtesy of the Learning Perl colophon, a little about Llamas:
Llamas are from Andean range of South America, where they are well suited for the high mountain life. Llamas graze on grasses and are also known to be short tempered, stubborn and will "spit" to demonstrate displeasure.
Llamas can carry heavy loads, and are often used as beasts of burden. Archiological evidence suggests that Llamas have been domesticated for over 4,000 years.
Llamas also provide wool, meat and leather hides, although the wool of its cousin, the alpaca is more highly sought.
That is enough about Llamas....now for something completely different....
