You can actually use the registry fixes outlined on that page. It will disable click catching in any programs that do that (e.g. GetRight)
If you're on a fast connection you can do Tools - Internet Options - Advanced and Uncheck "Use HTTP 1.1", Click apply, and OK. Problem being with that is, some pages require HTTP 1.1, e.g. windowsupdate, so you might just want to disable it before you goto sites that are problematic, and re-enable it afterwards.
