Limiting a list of "must-see" movies to only five is impossible. Here are what I think are some of the best films made in the past 30 years (and these BARELY scratch the surface):
* Pulp Fiction
* Saving Private Ryan
* Goodfellas
* Schindler's List
* Airplane (the funniest movie of all time, IMHO, and the king of all spoof flicks)
* The Godfather and The Godfather Pt. II (one of the few sequels to surpass the original)
* Raging Bull
* Raiders Of The Lost Ark
* The Star Wars trilogy (another original-surpassing sequel in this - The Empre Strikes Back)
* The Exorcist
* Fargo
* M*A*S*H
* Back to the Future
* Apocolypse Now
Of the "older" films, you must see:
* Citizen Kane
* Casablanca
* Gone With the Wind
* Psycho (Hitchcock was the master
)
* Lawrence of Arabia
