Of course, but we are talking about two different things here.
All standards thrive on who has the bigger push and the way I see it, currently IE is holding the cards. I'm not here to discuss which browser is in compliance because it's not something I know...But I do recognize that the greater population of internet users are using IE. That is where the market stands right now. The market is everything.
I'm not a coder like you (Navaho) and Dave, but as a user I know what attracts me in a browser. MS made way for a user-friendly browser that intergrates well with other componenents. There are so many cool codes out there that only IE will accept. Imagine a small thing like colored scrollbars...Something so little can leave a lasting impression on users.
