Longhorn is supposed to support RAW images built-in:

That'll make it easier to do things on the higher end with pictures. Those files can be huge tho
One reason I bought my rebel xt is that I already have a couple canon products - a powershot s50 (slowly getting worse for the wear) and a canon elura 50 or something (digital video). All 3 use the same battery and compact flash cards, so I save a bundle in not having to buy extras
