Wie (fast) immer lag auch in diesem Fall der Fehler am Benutzer. Die Datei archives.pl hatte chmod 644 statt 777. Nun funktioniert das Erstellen der Archive einwandfrei. Bin zufällig drübergestolpert als ich die chmods für ubb und Archives überprüfte.
