OKEY DOKEY
I'd like to do some (or all) of my site in cgi, for a few reasons which I dont feel like saying.

Anyway, I need to know about actions. I can do simple prints, and if/else/elsif and all that....but, not this.

so basically, I want people to go to index.cgi, but then, to sign up for the mailing list, they would be taken to "index.cgi?action=mailing". Simple? No?

as always, any help would be appreciated.

I asked zanardi, but apparently he is busy.

Use the CGI.pm module.

#!/usr/bin/perl

use CGI qw/:standard/;

$action = param('action');

if ($action eq 'mailing') {
# do stuff
}

--mark
