http://www.indigostar.com/indigoperl.htm

I'd like to be able to test CGI scripts on my PC, and IndigoPerl looks like it might be easier to use than installing and configuring Apache separately.

Has anyone had any experience with this?

Seems like a good program to me. I use it to test hacks before release. I dont know why, but it runs differently that activestate does...

Thanks for the feedback [Linked Image]

I'm running Win95, and the scripts I work on are intended for Unix servers. I wonder if I would need to install Linux in order to be able to test the exact same scripts on my PC that I would be running on a server. (I've already run into minor annoyances such as flock and taint mode not being accepted on Win9x, and have had to comment that stuff out when doing local testing.)

Ya do know flock is not win9x compatible, right?
I also experience problems with -T on scripts under Win9x but linux/windows 2000 is fine.

yes [Linked Image]

Actually, I've had trouble using taint mode on a Win2K server. I get the error "too late for taint mode". I was wondering if taint mode might be already enabled by the server. I suppose I could make a test script to determine if taint mode is already on.
