OK my problem is this - when I supply a base URL in cp.links such as www.oursitename.com this actually resolves to a path name on our server which contains a space in it, eg 'D:Web Sitesetcetcetc'. Then when I try to change my settings via cp.html it reports an error, cannot find 'D:Web' - presumably something in the cgi (cpanel/cpanel2) cannot handle this space. We can't rename the path (easily) as there are other websites hosted there too. Anyone any ideas of how to let it cater for spaces? Any advice gratefully received! Cheers, Tony

In URLs, either + or %20 represents a space character.

Thanks Dave, but the problem is that all I enter is www.oursitename.com, I appear to have no control over the fact that it resolves that to D:Web Sitesblah. I'm thinking there is possibly some code within one of the cgi scripts I can hack, possibly using %20 but I'm not sure where.

add the %20 instead of the space and it might handle it. ------------------ Modification Developer of the Ultimate Bulletin Board Due to time limitation, I do not offer support Via. E-mail, ICQ , AIM, Private message or any media.Regards, MasterMind
