do anyone know how to link a file to another html files... shtml...

the situation is like this my web server is at f2s.com and i the full path is web/sites/122/amika2000/www.amika2000.f2s.com and i want to link a file inside my cgi-bin/newspro/news.txt to my index.shtml and it keep on giving me this error message
[an error occurred while processing this directive]

i've tried with and and it all give me the same error message...

can anyone please help me!!!!

Try not using the absalute path...

When using SSI, you use relative paths, not absolute paths. The following code is the correct code to use, so try that out, and tell me how it goes.

I like to capitalize mine to make them stand out better. It's my coding style.

i got another question on the ssi command... here is another command that give me the same error message... i've tried this and this and it still give the same error message.. anything i did wrong... ??? or the exec command is wrong??

I get that same error on the top of topics when I installed the whos online hack...How do I fix that?

that is a v6 mods question, not a server side scripting question.
