Yup, you *can* do it.... I have faith in ya!
It helps to know HTML and the way the UBB variables work. And it also helps if you've got something to look at and emulate, like if another site has already done this, or if you modify a screendump to look the way you want it to. If you rip off someone else's site, though, be sure you get permission... some people don't like others stealing their work.
