Up at the top of the screen, in our Database menu, go to Tutorials > Design Tutorials, and there is (or should be) a tutorial about it.

In the Header field of your Style templates, insert:

quote:

In the Footer field:
quote:

Sidebar

CONTENT

And of course replace BORDERCOLOR, TITLEBGCOLOR and MAINBGCOLOR with their appropriate values, and CONTENT with your actual content.

We formatted as you said Jamin, there's only one problem. When visitors create threads with over 50 pages of replies (you can see some threads here at ubbdev do the same), the whole page is pushed over making everything extremely wide.

I guess what I'm asking is, why don't the page numbers go underneath each other when the line gets too long? Is there any ways to get around that?

Thanks.

Mirko

And, how is it different if I want the sidebar on the left instead of the right?

All the code goes into the header field.

Thanks. I tried that and was getting strange results, but I abandoned the idea because my left bar required ASP coding. I don't think it's possible without frames if ASP is involved.

It'd be all good if someone could tell me how to join the header to the sidebar. Like, so it has a bar going from the top left to the bottom right, around the actual UBB, like yuou often see on sites.

It'd also be good if you could tell me how to join it at the bottom as well.

That, er, hasn't helped a great deal. I know how to do top, bottom, left and right bars, but how would I go about joining the right bar to the top and bottom ones?
