I know this is not the place for a question like this so please guys don't get pissed off at my off topic/forum(site!) post, but you guys are the only ones I know who might know the answer (its not even UBB... (again apologies) but: www.thelavenderoom.com. As you can see the table on the left doesn't quite fill out its space. I am getting flak from the client for this. I am using Dreamweaver and unf...king believably can't work out how to fix it. Anyone????

I'm going to move this to the HTML forum. You're likely to get a better answer there.

And rightfully so. The coding is absolutely terrible. I'll fix it for you and post what I've got.

Thank-you so much... I have so many deadlines approaching, I just don't have time to give this one the attention I should.

OK, the code has been fixed, and I also fixed one more significant problem you had. That background image was 165 KB, and I reduced it down to 17 KB. How much are these people paying you to develop this site? tipsy

Ok, thanks again, one more question: how can I get the text to line up, i.e. not just align center, but so that each line starts and finishes at the same point?

Which section of the page were you talking about? the navigation? the content area? I think you want the text to be justify aligned, but I dunno what section you want it for. At any rate, I've broken the page up into two sections, left and right.

In the style sheet, the class .leftCol controls the navigation, and .rightCol controls the content. Wherever you want the text to be justify aligned, add text-align: justify; to.
