This is actually pretty easy. I think Skorpion explained how to do this exact thing in the new U-ZIne for July. Check it out.

it does it differently it also separtes the forums..
and if take out the $TBB aat the end of the cat then my cats are like different like i want them but they grow into a formation... like a pyramid but that is uside down...



thats whats happenin.

if i leave the $tbb at the end of cats then it get a mess... its not what i was exactly lookin for.. can u help me with this plz skorpion

also if possible i would appreciate if the formation as displayed in the original post plz.
with the topic and posts TD's in the category table.

The pyramid thing is caused by every forum being made in a new table that is set to prolly 97% width, but that is inside the previous table which never got closed. So they just keep getting smaller.

If you want the forums indented, they MUST be in a table that is separate from the categories.

You should be able to keep the forums themselves in each category all together in a single table, though...

First, complete all the instructions from the u-zine EXCEPT the next-to-last step of the forum_summary instructions (the one involving $Row .= qq~). After you've done that...

Find:
Replace with:
That's untested, I'm just guessing it will work. Let me know what happens. (If it doesn't, you may have to wait till tomorrow sometime [maybe morning, if I'm up early enough; otherwise evening after work] to get more help from me, cuz I'm going to bed eminently.)

i added an extra
between the tbb and tbt tho to get the line break

now if u have time can u look over how to get the topics and posts things in there. never mind the indenting.. i just gave spacing in some of them forum names i wanted indented

Vague explanation: Replace the $CategoryStrip stuff with the $Top stuff. So that each category strip actually looks like the forum header. Then remove the first wordlet and replace it with $CategoryName or whatever the variable is.

That's something Bookie did on his forums, and I'm not sure he wants everyone copying it, so I'd check with him before you do it though.

Statistics and PM notification are easily achievable via their respective hacks found in our 6.0x beta forums. And I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about with the -Hidden- stuff. But unless I'm just not understanding you correctly, aside from the stuff I already mentioned, isn't that pretty much the way the page is laid out already?
