I don't know this should be in Web Hosting or in Forum design. The point is I know a few guys host things themselves, and other are hosting in places where the stats they provide aren't so great.

I found this freeware app that I'm now using and I think it's pretty good. Mind, we use WebTrends at work, and it's not near as thorough, but there was also a lot of info in there I never cared to use.

The program is called AWStats, and it's a PERL program, so it should be able to run where-ever you're running UBB. I have it working fine on IIS 5.0, although the first run of instructions are for apache.

I have used WebLog & Analog previously and have settled with exactly the one you pointed out. Out of all the freebiew this seems to be the most extensive/supported out there.
