well, does not seem to be the hack i need? *confused* - just had a look at the sources you provided as a fine multihack-file and as you may have noticed, i just want to add a sliced picture into the table of the mainforums view like it is right now @ http://technoforum.dyndns.org/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi actually i do not like to add a picture into the table and category HEADER cells. any idea ? :-) thanks, regards, chris http://technoforum.de

Find the tag that's for your "$ForumDesc" in public_forum_summary.pl then add:
[code][/code]See if that works.

In fact just after briefly looking at Allen's Table Background mod you can apply the "background" tag into your "$ForumDesc" instead of the other places. If you do it this way you'll be able to update your background image via CP.

2prime, thing is that i do have sliced pictures, not just one big... so, i still remember slightly that in a previous hack i just added a bunch of lines with a forum_variablenumber.gif in a template, resizing the table-width&height and the hack was done, so i was wondering because of the big hack-procedure within the multihack-file...
errrr... mhn, still looking for the easiest way to include the identical background-picture as i still have in my 6.01 *g*

actually, that was a tres cool mod, the guy from umbrella wrote it. Lemme see if I can find it on my old pc, cuz I want it too

2allen, i was searching for that txtfile for hours yesterday and i got mad, because i knew that the solution to include slices.gifs into the mainforumview was quite easy and simple. sooooo, how much € do i have you to pay to transfer this tiny mod into 6.5 asap *g* ? it looks like that it shouldn't be a big thing, but, huh, i'm so confused about all the changes from 6.01 to 6.5 that i messed up some lil' things yesterday in my brandnew6.5 and now i decided to ask first here on the board before patchting again *g*

just want to fix now the height of every tablerow and would like to make it static, for example to 30px *g* .. any ideas?
