sorry if this isnt the best forum to ask in. i saw V6 and jumped
anyway, im having extreme difficulty entering my own boards. i upgraded from a clean 5.47b to v6, b7 last night.
everything seems to work perfectly fine, registering, posting, replying, profile checks, etc, etc.... the only glitch is, i can't log in! it sounds like a small problem, but, it IS pretty annoying, as, it prevents all my users from using their own accounts.
anyway, even the login page loads up fine. and, all the text links on that page also work flawlessly.
my problem comes in when you click "login now" (the gray pressable button). the link somehow gets screwed up, and, my boards look for "http://www.robkamphausen.com/ultimatebb.cgi" instead of "http://www.robkamphausen.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi" (it leaves out the necessary "cgi-bin/" part of the code)
like i said above, tho, even the text links work fine (with the "cgi-bin/" part). but, when you click on the login button, you get an error message, cuz its not looking in the right spot.
any idea how to fix this? or even how to fudge it, just so my loyal following can continue their following?
(and btw... im TOTALLY digging the new "threads" on yer site, here. very sweet color patterns. they give the boards a frighteningly "professional" look
! congrats!!)
