In the ubb_forum_summary.cgi (or it could be named otherwise, it has forum_summary in it, so its easy to find...)
there is a bit of coding, that says:
ok, well I want to make it so that
if ($vars_display{DisplayMemberTotal} eq 'false') (notice the 'false tag)
THEN DISPLAY
if ($vars_display{NewestMemberWelcome} eq 'yes') {
my @newbie = &GetNewestMember;
if ($newbie[0] ne '') {
$RegisteredMemberLine .= qq!$vars_wordlets{new_member_welcome} $newbie[0](i removed the
tag, because that makes it skip a line, so like, if I had the 'blah blah blah has
NUMBER registered MEMBERS! tag turned OFF, then it would still skip a line, because that other tag is turned on)
what I am trying to say is that...is there a code i can add so that if
code 1 = off
code 2 = on
Code 1 doesnt skip a line...any1 catch me?
ok, screw it, thats too much to even want a 2 question answered, but here is my second question...

In ubb6, on ultimatebb.cgi (the main page, which replaced Ultimate.cgi), there is a built in "Last Post" part, which links the subject to the actual subject, but doesnt link the name of the poster to anything
what can I add in to the template, or anywhere....to say that the last poster's name will be linked to their profile???
