I checked the database and it doesn't seem to be there, it says it is, but the actual entry has no link to the txt or whatever.

I'm not looking for ranks, I'm just looking fora user selectable custom title inputted in a text area (not a drop down list), preferably becomming available after a set number of posts, but that's not important.

If the link is down try the VS Mods forum and go through the topics until you find "User Custom Status for 5.46" and that link should hopefully work.

I tried every custom status or title link after doing a search in V5 Modifications, and came up with a few which looked promising.

Unfortunately, of the one or two that had working links neither of them worked for my 5.47ubb. One of them gave searches to parts of files that, simply, weren't there.

And in the other thread everybody was complaining how it wasn't working properly or at all on any versions of ubb 5.4x, and the download link was dead anyways.

The ones that looked promising were down though, like Qasics.

yes, I had the same problem, some of the files that appeared they would work were down, and the ones that were available did not work for my 5.47c UBB

actually the onbly modification that relatively works with 5.47c (I have that version) is the edition of it (made earlier this year by ???), but even it has some problems. I decided not to install that hack

The one for 5.46 should work on all 5.47 versions, In the meantime I'd try using some other peoples hack pages to find the hack.

Guess that just means rooting around through sites some more...Spawns site seems to be down and Qasics doesn't seem to have this one.

Use the Custom User Text hack does the same thing basically.

yeah, I only actually found the true honest to code intructions for one user text hack for version five at all, and it gave references to code my board doesn't seem to have. Even the one in the database, it says link: www.ubbdev.com and, but sans documentation.

They must have deleted the txt off there server so maybe report it and they will re-upload it.

I'm interested in finding out the URLs for Spawns and Qasics sites. I have seen reference to them here before, but cannot find the URLs. Also, Spawns seems to be passworded, but there is no info on how to access this, or if it is possible.

Spawns Database is currently down at the moment, But I don't think Qasic's has this hack either.
