Does anyone know how to move the pm inbox link from the bottom of the board to the top.
I'm a bit stuck as to which file to look in.

On page 7 in this thread, I have a link to a Multihack file that I created for the PM InBox.
That's what I used to install it on my board, and it's been working fine since.

hi folks - does this hack exist for 6.0x versions? my UBB is heavily integrated into my Cold fusion site so i haven't upgraded my UBB in some time. Instead i'm building in hacks... so any help on finding code for this PM improvement for my version would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Yes med, just like the viewpminfo made by e@sy back in the 6.0 version days where you get a flashing light and a wav sound file..

probs... I'm pretty sure I have done the hack right but for some reason it does not show when I have a new PM I'm using 6.3.1 beta has anyone else have the trouble, I have the accelerator running... Thanks http://www.spl.at Jon

Can anyone please confirm once and for all if this does indeed work on 6.2.1 WITH the UBB accelerator on? I have the same problems described above with it on (having to clear cookies or log in/out) when getting new PMs to show up. Thanks.

this does not work with the php accel as stated in the original post.
also it is uncofirmed and unsupported (by me) on 6.3 betas.

in your hack is: ###replace: #print qq%Content-type: text/htmlnn%; print header( -charset => "$masterCharset", .. and so on..... ###with: use vars qw($my_pms_cookie); $my_pms_cookie = cookie( -name => "pms$vars_config{Cookie_Number}", -value => "$new_pms", -path => '/', -expires => '+2y' ); print header( -cookie => "$my_pms_cookie", -charset => "$masterCharset" ); in 6.30 I did it twice and then I got it workin, there are two instances of "#print qq%Content-type: text/htmlnn%;", the second instance is a bit various but almost the same. by replacing this twice the hack works in 6.3 also

6.3.0 with Accel on, As reported above it only works when cookies are cleared or user logs out and then in.
Any chance of a fix up?

when it says if you have who's online installed...i am alittle confused as to which one i am supposed to use...if i didnt install any hacks related to who's online and am just using the recent visitor feature in 6.3.0.1, does this mean i DONT have who's online installed?

I have a quick question and hope someone can help me with this..I have installed this hack it works great but I have one small issue..I was testing this out to see how it works by logging into a couple of my users accounts and sending myself pms to see how it worked..now i have sent myself 3 msg from 3 accounts...when i log into my account it says i have 4 messages but i really have 3..i delete all 3 messages and it still says i have 1..what file is it that i need to modify as to make it say i have 0 messages..and help would much appreciated
