It's not only a cosmetic thing, I told you somewhere you're using an old ubb_lib.cgi. Your 6.1.0.3 is hackable (the cookie bug) since the fix is in ubb_lib.cgi.

What exactly is the fix?

I don't want to be hackable at such a young stage

I think I know the fix. R E H A C K and make sure I am H A C K I N G the right files next time.

I have a little problem, perhaps someone can help me. All messages in my site get a "user no longer exist, can't open message" subject. Anybody knows how to fix this?

this hack works great on myu board i was just wondering if someone can make the hack so it tells ya how many PMs u have total also like it

0 New Messages, 0 in total.

works nicely, move the javascript code to "public_common.pl" at the $show_logout. Now it says " welcome member, you have 2 new message. | logout |".

Also noticed that I had to change the
"if(''==pms_cookie || null==pms_cookie) {"
to
"if(''==pms_cookie || null==pms_cookie || 0==pms_cookie) {"

because, it would always show the "Else {}" even when cookie says "0".
