As I follow your Zamalik site last few days, i can see that u already have installed successfully Mod Wordlets now so try to install Thinking Clock again and adjust your Date and time at ur board CP to be +2 and 2 coz u r hosting at MenaNet.

(Note: sorry that ur team lost today’s match, btw which member account you are there?).

Now before I ask my question i would like to say sorry there is this hack for 6.05 already.

--

Now I re-Congifed this a bit and so far no software errors or anything but I cant seem to get it to show the actually clock..... see... www.dsstcenter.com/cgi2/ultimatebb.cgi

All code was used but i think it still may have to be adjusted to work.

---
If there is one already made for ubb 6.05 could someone plz direct me to a valid link.

DSST, replace the line with Wordlet with the text itself, like my $option1 = '"Your time: "+local+". Board time: "+server'; my $option2 = '"Time: "+local';

BTW, your sig image is HUGE, please make it smaller

I still love this hack, I installed it tonight...again...

I modify it just slightly so that it just shows the server time. I think most people have clocks on their screens.

I'm having some problems. When I added the script code in public_forum_summary.pl and uploaded it all my script code stuffed up. (News fader, on/off) and I don't know why. It probably has to do with fader.js but I'm sure I hacked everything correctly.

Hacked it twice, got the same problem.

And LK I took it out after it didn't work. Why would I leave it in there? And no I'm not super post reader either.

Same here.. I tried the MultiHack one twice and the text file once...I did it perfectly..It does not show on the homepage at all..All I see are a couple of lines drawn below the "Hello" username box on the homepage...Oh well..Maybe I'll try the 6.2.1.2 version and see what happens..

Bah,
Nevermind LK...It works perfect smile I didn't go to the control panel to set the GMT Time Zone Offset: setting first before clearing the cache.. Whew!! Sometimes it helps to just read and follow instructions..

One more thing LK..When I used the Multihack for this modification, it didn't hack the fader.js file correctly which created problems with the Newsfader not working. The hack looks fine for fader.js using Multihack but it just doesn't hack it correctly..When done by hand, it works perfectly..

I'm pretty sure my error was a incorrect install since it works for everyone else with News Fader. But I've ahd experiance with my strange UBB being different to normal.

I'll give it another try later.

I'd work this one out myself but I'm no expert at JS... frown

[code][/code]Instead of adding that to public_forum_summary.pl, I want to separate the board time/user time, so I can have one of them in one place and the other in another place.

You'll see what you mean if you go to http://www.iphq.co.uk/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi , then look at the "Welcome" table.

Little help, please? smile

Howdy LK: I usually have no problems with your hacks, this is the first time, as usally your hacks are well documented.. I tried over and over and over to get this one working ,I keep getting a bunch of java error then got rid of them and then finally no java errors but then an error kept coming up everytime I went to the page..I really love this crack. I used to be really good on 5.47 but was in the hospital for a long time with heart problemos...Now I have 6.3.1 wow what a difference, its like starting all over. I installed chat and calendar with little problems.But now this grrrrr

Ok Tried from scratch again, I reinstalled it, Now I get all kinds of Run Time Errors at different lines, with No Java errors though .This is the 5th time I have installed it grrrrrr
Thanks in Advance

No, it takes the time from the user and removes or adds hours... So if the local time is CST + 5:00 PM and server time is GMT, it'll show 11:00 PM.

LK, this step:
Code
###################################################################################
############ DO THIS STEP ONLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE NEWS FADER INSTALLED ############
###################################################################################

******************************
* Open ubb_forum_summary.cgi *
******************************

Find:
=====

sub forum_summary {

Add below:
==========

$Header =~ s/<body/<body onload="GetTime()"/isg;
Has to be done whether you have the News Fader or not.. Just thought I'd let you know.

Also the instructions could do with being updated due to the new wordletised control panel.

.
.

How is the server time set..?
It's currently 4 hours ahead of where the server is located.. I've tried setting this in the control panel and the server time doesn't change.. Any ideas?

Where exactly is the clock on your forum ? I didnt see it.
And, is it possible to show a few clocks, with different times in the same time?

I have a few members from Hawaii through Europe all the way to Israel. They asked me if I can show the time change for the those countries.

Thank you,
Felix

Oblivion Knight, it's in Date/Time Settings in CP - "GMT Offset"

Felix, I'm using Time Zone hack now so I removed that hack from my forum.
