hi. in the past, my ubb 5.xx series has had some problems with members, and it deleted members every now and then or made there posts to zero. It was actually the server no the UBB, but thats besides the point.

Anyway the problem now is that we have almost 600 members, BUT poeple have memer numbers up to 700+ because of all the records that were deleted. There are many gapsfrom members 1-100 in the cgi files. Is there an easy way to fill in these gaps or make the UBB move everyone "down" a few numbers to fill them in?

not without manually changing many files manually...

alight, that would mean i would have to change a ton of files. I dont think its worth it. its just confusing to some new memebrs to see there are 600 board members but they are member number 782 or something...

It happens on this forum too, All the member numbers get mixed up and stuff...

Maybe they should try fix it in the upcoming UBB versions even though it isn't a big problem anybody cares about.
