I have a problem with member files over-writing each other! For example, member #2016's profile info somehow ended up in member #24's cgi file!
So of course all posts by #2016 and #24 have #2016's name on them.
This doesn't happen all the time, but when it does the two members are posting in the same topic.
I upgraded to 6.1.0.3 from 6.1.0.2 hoping that would help. It didn't.
I only put 3 hacks on the update..."last post by", "who's online", and "chat". All pretty stable hacks so I don't think that's the problem.
I was hoping someone might have a clue as to what's going on before I go through the hassle of a support ticket!

Try rebuilding member stats in your control panel first to see if that clears it up. Then post the contents of the 2 member files if it doesn't so we can see what's happening.

Ok Allen,
I rebuild the member stats already.
I had to fix the member files by hand and everything is ok right now. It seems to happen every couple days so I'll post the files the next time it happens.
