hi everybody,

i'm new in here and was hoping if somone could pls help me .......

everytime i try to update the STYLE TEMPLATE section in my cp i get this error

You did not complete all required fields.
You did not complete: TemplateName

» Use your browser's back button to return.

i have no idea as to what to do ....
i have to make chages in the template and i can't do it. someone please help me .....

That just means that you didn't fill in a name for the new template at the very top of the page. Try supplying a name, and see if that fixes the problem.

i tried what you asked me to do but then there is no option for template name but when i try to style a new template i'm able to do it AS i have Custom Table and Cell Background image hack installed and i do not get the option for that but when i try to update the new template for the 2nd time i get the option For table and category image but it doesn't let me update the template and gives me the same error

TEMPLATE NAME NOT COMPLETED

LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED MORE INFO FROM MY SIDE

Are you sure you didn't give the template a name? What hacks have you installed on your forum?

i have the following hacks installed...

1.compact headers 2.0.0
2. ubb links to images
3.UBB integrated poll
4.WHOSE online
5.CP registration
6.MODLOG
7.MEMBERLIST
8.icq hack
9.drop down moderators
10.custom table and cell background
11. 8 moderators
12. edit user post total from cp

thats mostly it but i started having this
problem when i installed NameEffects_Megamod

then i removed it but it doesn't seem to fix the problem .

I am not to sure but while you were hacking you probably left a line of code out while editing a template :rolleyes:

yup you are probably right but could you pls tell me what template file contains the info so that i can fix it ....

Sorry , i am not that experenced at actual ubb hacking yet , alls i know is its a template , thats why people Strongly recommend you to back up your files before attempting to hack , i am sure someone could help you out , sorry i couldn't

i found the solution the problem was with cp_styles.cgi.... i've fixed it and its working fine now but thanks for all the help guys
