http://www.c5forum.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi The forum used to be lightning fast, but ever since the upgrade has gotten slower and slower. Traffic is not that much higher than before, so I think it has something to do with UBB6. Can anyone help me troubleshoot?

You UBB6 might run a little slow right after you upgrade.
You just have to wait it out, let the cache build up, let your server recover from the upgrade.
It should run the same, or faster, then UBBv5.
This is the designed behavior.
