I have search for the past 30 minutes but can't find the thread on increasing the pic upload limit, I seem to recall it involved smileys as well. Anyone enlighten me to the thread?? the search turned up nothing, or more probably I was looking for the wrong thing!

Hmm...Well for smilies open cp_graemlins.cgi and find (2 times):

and delete them both.

The pictures I'm not sure what you're referring to.

When uploading pictures the limit is 8 pics in any one post, so if you have say 16 you need to make two replies to get them all in. The hack was a workaround so that you could post 8, 10, 16 or whatever you set the limit to,all at one go.

I could have sworn the posting image limit was in the Miscellaneous Settings in the CP...Ahh well.

Anyway, you can go into "vars_misc.cgi" located in cgi-bin directory of UBB and find something similar to:

[code][/code]and change the number to whatever you want. I think the setting is also in ubb_lib.cgi near the top.


Now go into CP under Error Message Wordlets and look for "excess_images" then change the number to whatever you set in the "vars_misc.cgi" file.
