I love in my ubb v6.1x the 'who-is-online' ssi call (shtml) for my homepage. I display there who is log on.

Now with V6.2 this option is with recent visitors gone.

What I need is a script in any kind who give me textoutput of recent vistors for my homepage. This one schould be used with virtual include as a ssi call.

Anyone out the who need this also and is able to do this ?

LK has posted the code before to do this... I'll have to dig it up if he doesn't before I do

Seems to work very well in Ubb 6.2.x. Nice work, thank you. I will test ist in 6.3 tomorrow.

This should be insert as option in the recent visitor (wol) hack.

So I can continue to switch my board from 6.1 to 6.2

virtual include works only if you call it from a shtml file thats belongs to same server as the ubb is installed. It don't work if the shtml file is on other webspace.

There is a big problem with the SSI call using ultimatebb.cgi:

If a guest, who never logged on the board, visit the homepage he will recive the board errormessage that he is not log on in my table who should display recent visitor.

Maybe thats the reason why the old script was an external one.

Any idea to prevent this ? Now i have disabled this for the first time and hope for a another solution.

Hi, I think it was due to lack of sleep and stress, because this morning I took one look at it and got it working!

you are right, actual it work. Myself go I will watching it and take a screenshot if it happen again. But one effect can be forced: if you close the board for maintanace you get the closed board message there incl allö header information in the style sheet. Looks funny

I know that problem I guess maybe it should be in a diff file, but it's not a hack here, notice this toic is in ideas/suggestions thread

Ok when I put this code in for 6.3.0 I get internal server error,

"The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request."

the ubb wont even display. I double checked the code over and over, and its exactly as you have it.

Thanks LK, I put it on the netwerkin homepage but I had to use a virtual include instead of the exec command.
