What is the longest work-unit that you have had???

The longest that I have experienced took just over 3 days to complete. Have you had some long running tasks as well?

92 hours and 8 min now, still at 97% laugh

Thing is, I've also got 62 "hits" on this one... nice... because that means that this particular molecule has lots of potential receptor sites for drug interaction. [Linked Image]

My last batch took 4 hours to process the first 98%, and 7 hours to process the last 2%... the few cyclic molecules it was processing scored over 200 hits. shocked

Trouble is, since UD saves progress every few %, that last 7 hour stretch had to be done without stopping. frown

I had one that lasted 168hrs that finished back before April 9th. It was an SOD. The record for a posted unit is 600+hrs. talk about a LRMFH(LongRunningMoleculeFromHell) that would be it.

Hey guys, anybody got any ideas on this thread question?

My longest was 13 hours, but the one I'm doing now is about 4 1/2 hours and at 42% so this one might be longer.

I have a feeling this app isn't multi-threaded, I moved it to a dual PIII Proliant server and it's only detecting a single CPU.

Well, I should have hit 10,000 tomorrow....

I run a network with 120 quad and 8-way Xeon Proliant servers, too bad my CIO wouldn't like the idea of me running this on all of them...I could hit 100,000 pretty quick.

My comp is like 3 years old so It doesn't complete tasks as fast as the good comps do. The one I'm on now seems to get slower and slower all the time...:/

It took like 36 days of CPU time on one machine to hit 10,000. The average CPU time per days is 21 and a half hours. That means that 3.5 hours a day of CPU time when to other processes, which is a lot actually for a machine that just servers images for me on the web.
