Cheers, gang. We are all working toward a very noble cause, and I appreciate everyone's willingness to contribute! On my own battle: I got my first PET/CT showing "no signs of active lymphoma or metastatic disease"!! I am clean 1 year after treatment! However, due to the severity of chemo and the number of blood transfusions I had to have, I may have developed a rather nasty disorder called Hemochromatosis, where the body absobs and hoardes iron. It can cause all sorts of organ failure and myriad lesser symptoms. IF I do have it, though, we have caught it early and everything should be fine... except for the medieval treatment. They literally BLEED you! Something like .5 to 1 liter of blood a month for 2-3 years. Basically throwing your body into iron deficiency and anemia so it will utilize the existing iron to compensate. Ahhh the wonders of modern medicine! Cheers, Chris
