I was planning on adding this to the modified search in the Admin section as soon as I can upgrade my site... once I've added it, I'll send the code to Rick for inclusion in the next beta.

good question! []/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/] Actually, I took a look at the base setup for 5.0, and my 'member' rating is only between 100 and 200 posts... hmmm... guess I'd better start posting more!
I sent off a hack to add this feature to scream... since I don't have 5.x up and testing yet, he'll have to do it in his copiouis spare time... []/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/]
If you want, I can send the patched files to you and you can test them...?

thanks much, but I'm not actually a wwwthreads user yet. Just circulating here while I try to decide which s/w to go with to replace my oppressive wwwboards set up...great to know that a patch is out there, though!

I get tons of postings on my site and am concerned about the speed hiccup of Perl versus PHP. Also, wwwthreads isn't the easiest s/w for newbies...especially those hard-to-fathom icons you've gotta dig down into a FAQ to grok...
That said, I'm definitely seduced by the feature set of wwwthreads and by Screamer's frequent updates.

just found out that my extra database has been set up, so I'll be able to install/test/develop on 5.0 tomorrow... so Rick's 'copious spare time' is safe for now! []/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/]
